'The popularity for our travel sales continue to increase each year and we're expecting a staggering 1.2 million visitors during the bonanza,' Mr Arnott said.

'We have a variety of renowned international and local brands participating, with the majority of the deals exclusive to our sale.'

For visit sri lanka , Webjet Exclusive general manager Brendan Sawyers offered his advice for shoppers wanting to take advantage of the mega sale.

' travel guide tend to offer greater discounts by travelling in shoulder and low seasons away from school holiday periods where hoteliers become somewhat more reliant on value to drive bookings,' he said.

'For example, the tropics are frequently on sale during wet seasons so if you can stand some humidity and a tropical shower or two then it's great value, but you just need to think about what experience you want and what's worth your dollars.'

He encouraged shoppers to know how much money they are willing to spend and try working their budget back to a cost-per-day before diving in Click Frenzy.

'Also, consider what payment options are available. For most Webjet Exclusives' tours, you just need to pay a low deposit to confirm your spot so you can snatch a great bargain today and finalise payments at a later date.'

Mr Sawyers said flights to destinations such as Maldives, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam will have the biggest sales.

'The biggest sales are usually seen in destinations that have increased competition,' he explained.

'Also, destinations that rely on Australian tourism like Bali are likely to have great deals to keep the regular year-round flow of Aussies.'

This year's event will be the first to extend beyond the typical 24 hours - running from 7pm Tuesday, February 26 (AEDT) to midnight Wednesday, February 27.
